MUTTA PALADA

Mutta Palada or Mutta Churul is a simple, easy, quick, and tasty Malabar snack. Mutta Palada can be made using rice flour or maida. Mutta Palada is nothing but a thin pancake filled with Coconut fillings. In some places, it is also called Elanchi, Sweet love letter or “churul appam”.

Here I have made using maida and stuffed it with grated coconut and sugar. Usually I add turmeric for the color and you can add yellow food color. As always I have manually mixed the pancake batter. You can use a mixer jar to make it easier by adding all the ingredients together and add enough water to make a smooth batter. Mutta Palada is also a breakfast recipe.
